Dragon Skin Map/Scroll Tube

I sold this map/scroll tube at a gaming convention. It is covered in metallic silver/black alligator-embossed leather over a plastic PVC base tube. The top and bottom are finished with black leather, and more metallic leather supports the rings that hold the removable braided waxed cotton cord strap. It measures about 12 inches long with a 1 1/4 inch diameter opening.

The top and bottom are finished with dark forest green leather, and tied with silver cord. The hand-braided 5 strand removable strap is decorated with fluted silver accents on each end. It measures about 12 inches long with a 1 1/2 inch diameter opening.

Dragon Bag

This bag depicts a dragon sleeping on a bed of treasure. The flap represents the dragon's wing. The bag is made of dupioni silk, which was cut into many pieces in order to resemble stained glass. The dragons claw curls around a gemstone button, which holds the bag closed. This bag was a lot of work, and I was a bit misty-eyed when it sold!

Wood Grain Leather Corset

I made this corset to sell at my booth at a gaming convention. It is made of tooling leather, which I shaped on a plaster corset mold, and then tooled with a wood grain design. After dyeing it brown, I antiqued it with a darker brown stain to fill in the grooves of the tooling, and distress it a bit. Playful green lacing gives it some extra character. Finally, I lined it in wool felt for a softer surface on the inside.

Wood Grain Leather Bracers

I made these bracers to sell at my booth at a gaming convention. They are made of leather, which I tooled to resemble wood grain. After initially dyeing them brown, I antiqued them with a darker color to bring out the texture of the design.

Fantasy Bracers

I made these bracers to sell at my booth at a gaming convention. I wanted to make something that a fantasy character could wear, so I tooled them with a swirling design, and then painted them to look like bronze. This finish was tricky to achieve, and took quite a few layers of colors to get right.

Flame Bracers

I made these leather bracers to sell at my booth at a gaming convention. I thought it would be interesting to incorporate a gemstone into the design, so I cut irregular holes into the wrist of each bracer, and then underlaid large super reflective orange cabochons, so that they would look like they were blasting a hole into the leather itself. The design of the bracer looks like flames are emanating from the gem, and the fantasy runes are representative of some sort of magic spell.

Birch Bark Leather Corset

I made this corset as a custom order for a client who purchased a set of bracers with the same birch bark finish at my booth at a gaming convention. This corset was molded on a plaster corset mold, tooled with the signature horizontal groove pattern of birch bark, and then dyed a dark base color and painted with several layers of lighter colored paint to achieve this finished look. It is finished with a wool felt lining.

Unicorn Feast Kit

I made this feast kit as a custom order for a client who LARPs. She requested the theme, and the color scheme. The kit is backed by a tooled leather circle with a unicorn design, and has straps that secure a wooden bowl to the front. It features a small leather pouch containing a cloth napkin, and an inner layer of leather straps that hold a wooden spoon and fork.

Autumn Elf

This costume was created for a client who loved my female high elf costume, and wanted her own dress in autumn colors. She chose to commission only the overdress. It is made of embroidered taffeta in a muted green, with embroidered organza sleeves in a rich copper color. Large copper colored gemstone beads decorate the upper sleeves, which also feature a geometric striped design in green taffeta. The inside of the skirt flaps are lined with taffeta that matches the copper color of the sleeves.
